Will my 2G iPhone work with the SaFPWR line of smart battery cases?
No. The 2G iPhone will not fit properly into the case cradle, given the difference between 2G and 3G dimensions. If you force a 2G model into the 3G case, you may damage the connector in the case and/or in your 2G phone.

What is the difference between the SafPWR Battery case XR and the SaFPWR Battery Case?
The energy density of the SaFPWR lithium polymer battery incorporated into the case design for the XR is two-thirds larger than the standard case and it will, therefore, hold sixty-seven percent more energy than the standard model. This additional energy capacity results in longer run times for the smart phone served by the XR battery case.

Does the SaFPWR battery case have an ON/OFF switch?
No. It does not need one. The SaFPWR battery case utilizes SaFPWR energy management technology. As a result the SaFPWR battery, through the use of its embedded system of circuits, sensors, software, and firmware, is able to determine when your device needs energy and how much energy it needs. This system keeps your smart phone battery charged until the SaFPWR battery case has provided all of its energy to the smart phone.

Can I charge the case without the phone in it?
Yes.

When should I charge my SaFPWR case separately?
It is necessary to charge your new SaFPWR case alone right out of the box for the first-time charge. Also, iPhone users will need to charge your SaFPWR case separately anytime your iPhone battery indicator is red (indicating that you have less than 20% capacity left).

How do I charge my phone in the SaFPWR battery case?
Simply connect your SaFPWR battery case to a power source through the USB cable that came with your SaFPWR battery case. The USB cable can be plugged into your computer or any wall plug with a USB port that has been approved by your device's manufacturer. You can also charge the phone separately if you prefer.

If I have a fully charged case and my iPhone out of power, will my battery case charge the phone?
No. The advanced circuitry in the SaFPWR battery case will not recharge your iPhone after the device has been drained to the point where the red battery appears in the screen. In this event, simply remove your iPhone from the battery case and charge it separately from the case. Once the green battery indicator appears on your iPhone, the SaFPWR battery case will charge it.

How do I clean my SaFPWR battery case?

To clean the SaFPWR battery case, wipe the case down with a soft cotton cloth. Make sure the case is dry before cleaning. Use a small amount of quality leather cleaner to remove dirt or blemishes from leather surfaces. Leather cleaner may also be used to polish and restore the look of the leather. Do not spill or coat the internal connector with any cleaning solvents or allow solvents to accumulate in the external USB connector port.

All leather products will deteriorate over time as the natural fibers in the leather break down. You can extend the lifetime of your case by cleaning it every week, as described above.

Are belt clips available for your cases?
Yes.

Does the magnetic closure interfere with my phone's functionality?
No.

Is there a difference between the SaFPWR battery case and other battery cases on the market?
Yes. The SaFPWR battery is a smart battery. Using its built-in technology, it communicates with your smart phone to optimize the energy use of your phone and the SaFPWR battery. The SaFPWR battery also monitors itself, its environment and the way you use your smart phone, using this information to adapt its operation and increase safety and performance.

When connected to iTunes, can I get updates even while my phone is in the case?
Yes, the SaFPWR battery case is equipped with automatic sync-thru technology.

Will the case interfere with Internet usage?
No.

Is the SaFPWR case certified to work with iPhones?
Yes, our iPhone cases are "Works with iPhone" certified.

How many times can I charge the case?
The SaFPWR battery case is designed to offer at least 500 charge cycles. This means that the battery can be charged and discharged at least 500 times over its lifetime.

My phone appears to be charging while it is in the SaFPWR battery case even when it appears to be completed charged. Why?
The SaFPWR battery case continually monitors the battery status of your phone to ensure that it is in an optimal state. The charging indicator is also an indication that the SaFPWR battery case is working with your phone.
